# Our Interior Decorating Process: From Estate Hunt to Room Reveal

Our 7-step **interior decorating process** is designed to be calm, transparent, and exciting. We take care of every detail—from measuring your room to hunting estate sales and fluffing the final throw pillow.

Because great homes take time to curate, we prioritize thoughtful selection over rush orders.

## The 7-Step Workflow

1. **Discovery Call (Complimentary):** 20-minute phone call to discuss your home, rooms, aesthetic vision, budget, and timing.
2. **In-Home Consultation:** 60–90 minute on-site working session to measure, evaluate light, and catalog existing keepsake furniture. The consultation fee is credited directly toward your design agreement.
3. **Design Agreement & Retainer:** Clear written scope, design fees starting at `$2,500` per room, and furnishings budget agreement.
4. **Concept Presentation & Revisions:** 2D mood boards, spatial floor plans, color palettes, and textile swatches with two rounds of client revisions.
5. **The Hunt & Photo Approvals:** Searching estate sales, auctions, and antique dealer showrooms. Detailed photos, condition reports, dimensions, and prices sent for approval prior to purchase.
   - *Note on Sourcing Timeline:* Authentic vintage sourcing takes **8–12 weeks** as part of the deliberate craft.
6. **Receiving, Inspection & Delivery:** Professional cleaning, wood conditioning, reupholstery (if required), and secure staging.
7. **Installation & Final Reveal:** White-glove installation day including rug placement, gallery-height art hanging, lighting setup, and tabletop styling.
